Creating an intuitive user experience to promote conversion.

The romantic lure of the Rocky Mountains is a siren song to many travelers, and thus a great spot to locate a hotel. The problem? Steep competition all fighting for the same piece of the pie. In order to help the Ridgeline Hotel (a Delaware North property) stand out from the crowd, the Mr. Smith team’s strategic focus was on creating an intuitive, easy-to-navigate user experience (with particular attention to mobile users) that would create a series of seamless paths designed to easily deliver the exact information any potential guest could want.

From a visually pleasing description of room types and up-to-date availability to guidance on the adventures afforded by the location itself to highlighting Latitude 105 (the renowned restaurant and lounge on premises), the site delivers contextually relevant information powerfully. A significant amount of time was spent on the mobile wireframing and prototype phases to ensure that all UX tests came back with scores that would promote design and development.

Mr. Smith was responsible for the overall Visual Concept & Design, Art Direction, UX/UI Design & Testing, Wed Design & Custom Front-End Development.
